Overview
Fab4Dead is a mod for Left4Dead strongly resembling the the original style of gameplay, with one major difference: You are the fab4 (the Beatles) chased around by screaming girls and paparazzi, trying to make it safely to your hotel room.
Features
- Player models resembling the Fab4
- All new zombie types, e.g. "Screaming girlies", "Frenzied mid-40's woman", "Yoko Ono" (trying to rip the beatles apart), "The Officer" (busting you for drug abuse)
- New weapons, e.g. the guitar, the magical cigarette, the tambourine of death
History
- May, 2009: Flinz creates the Valve Developer Wiki page and this blog, and is now looking for contributors
- May, 2009: The Left4Dead SDK is finally released
- Nov 24, 2008: The Idea was brought up on the Shack forums by user Re-Verse right here
